'No, mouth.' he says and so i pretend to chew on it like he does. Note: these have Acted as his soother rather than a thumb or pacifier pretty much since he could sit up.
'No Daddy, like this,' he says. And he takes his puppy, flips it over and holds it in this special way where he chews on the squishy part in the middle under the animal head. Sorry, this will require a visual in 20 years I'm sure.
I found this so endearing because he wants to share his love for his puppies with us. And that in his mind there is only one way to enjoy them. Unfortunately no matter how much I wash them the saliva has given them a smell we prefer not to put too close to our faces.
