I'm Melting

My humor is lost on my child's burgeoning grasp of reality.

I told D when getting in the car, "hurry up! I'm melting... Like the Wicked Witch."

( he has recently seen the movie and likes the witch, so I thought this would be funny)

Instead a concerned look comes over him, "why you melting mommy?!" and you can see the wheels turning.
