So for any of you who are wondering how I can keep getting all these video clips on the blog so fast, I'm happy to share. I gave Bryan a cool new toy for father's day knowing baby was on the way. A smart mommy friend of mine clued me in.

Check this out. www.theflip.com. It's truly a hand-held size and it allows you to just take small clips at a time, which in all honesty is all any of us should be taking on video. Gone are the hours of footage my dad used to take with a whopping 5 minutes of interesting action.

But that's not even the magical part. The reason it's so easy to upload is because built into the side is a USB port. So i don't have to have any cords or go find any other components when I'm ready to post. The blog tool I'm using -- Google's Blogger -- allows me to browse for the file just like when you attach pictures via email. And it treats the Flip like another hard drive. So I can browse directly to the Flip and not have to transfer files to my computer.

The trick is only trying to upload videos under sixty seconds. Otherwise it takes too long and the web site times out. Best of luck!
