Then and Now

So here Davis was at one week old. Precious, quiet and with a super round face. And notice how the hair comes all the way up to the wrinkles. His REAL hair line.






Now, he seems so grown up at 6 weeks, while I know he's still a mere infant, he's changed a ton. His eyes are so alert and he's awake a bunch. Maybe even too much for his age.

Look at his more defined face shape, his adorable nose and well, he continues to get longer. In fact, I swear I'm feeding him plenty, but he doesn't want to grow those squishy rolls that so many babies have. I think he continues to grow in length, so the fat isn't really collecting as I'd like. And yes, the hair in the front has thinned, but is still retaining a natural hairline, giving him a small, cute forehead.

Anyway, we've had a great few days. Better sleeping at night and while some more fussy times during the day I take that to mean he's learning and processing more so he needs to reset himself more frequently.

He's cooing a little more frequently, not a ton. Still very happy with his reflection - he can go 20 to 30 minutes mesmerized by his own good looks. We will see what this week brings.
