Beans, beans the musical fruit

Yes, Davis has officially tried refried beans. I know this may come as a shock to some, but down here we eat refried beans out of a can on a regular basis. My sister fed them to Makayla at about six months and they were her staple food. We weren't sure how it would go over with D, but he's a fan. Of course, Miss Beth wasn't as thrilled about 2 days later when he apparently had the "smelliest, nastiest poop she's ever seen." That's saying something after raising four of her own, and taking care of 3 others besides D. oops! We still haven't been able to get him to try and feed them to himself, but at least we've paved the way for all Mexican food we can eat.
