Being at the Aquarium Means Perfecting the Fish Face

Our Dallas World Aquarium is really beautiful. I've lived 10 years and I've never been. It's done really well, feels like a true ecosystem, rather than individual animal exhibits. Although I was surprised how much of it was not really in the water. Davis liked the anemones and the sea turtle, and there were several birds with a lot of freedom to fly. Oh, and we got very close to a Three-toed Sloth - I always think of Sid from Ice Age when I see one.

Davis has the lips of a grouper in this case, wouldn't you say?

There are penguins in the background of this one - he's watching a little swim around in the water outside, we are the ones inside in this case.

The triumphant grin of a man who knows he has prevailed... in this case the trophy is a huggable turtle.
